She was predeceased by: her husband Carlos Castro Camara; and her grandson Jacob. She is survived by: her children, Jose Carlos, Filomena, Antonio, John, Luisa, Grace, Helena and Luis; her grandchildren, Sandy, Paula, Danny, Aura, Melissa, Marina, Johnathan, Michael, Alexander, Phillip, Jason, Christopher, Maia, Mikayla, Elijah and Victor; her great grandchildren, Michela, Savanna, Joshua, Mateus, Noah, Julianna and Maverick; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Sophia, Miah and Matheo.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Patty's Place for Dementia Care in honour of Maria.
