It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Teresa Barbara Seymour in Oakville, Ontario, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Mervin Seymour; her parents, Lambertus Handstede and Johanna Handstede; and her sisters, Johanna (Annie) and Theodora (Doortje).
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Wemmers of Burlington and Jo-Anne Wemmers (Frank) of Montreal; her grandchildren, Emily Taylor (Chris), Megan Leadbeater, Brittany Leadbeater and John Calogerinis; and her great grandchildren, Kenley, Hayden, Brady, Lincoln and Layla.
