He is survived by: his wife Tine "Tina" (Bruinsma); his children, Pete (Tish), Herb (Elaine), Bern (Monica) and Joanne (John); his sister Irene Newman; his grandchildren, Shawn, Mitchell, Bryson, Dawsn, Zanden, Gage (Emily), Forst (Sydney) and Colt; and his great grandchildren, Sarah-Rose, Atticus and Minerva.
