He was predeceased by: his sister Antonietta Finelli; and his parents, Donato and Maria. He is survived by: his children, Lisa, Robert (Nelia) and Nicole (Matt Figliola); his former spouse Franca; his grandchildren, Natalie, Michael, Sofia, Giuliana, Antonio and Alessio; and his brothers, Giuseppe and Philip. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish (2473 Thorn Lodge Dr, Mississauga, ON L5K1K8).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to SickKids Hospital, Lymphoma Canada or CIBC Run for the Cure (Breast Cancer).
