It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Lorraine (Gunning) Dunbar of Oakville, Ontario, who passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herbert Gunning and Marion Gunning; her son Iain; her daughter-in-law Mary Fenn-Dunbar of Burlington, Ontario; her children, Gavin of Savannah, Georgia and Carolyn; her son-in-law David Dell of Oakville, Ontario; her grandchildren, Molly, Martha Dunbar, Madeleine, Andrew, Thomas and Iain Dell; her brother Cuthbert Gunning (Cup) of North Bay; and her friend Diane Dunbar.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home (64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K1E1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Knox Presbyterian Church (89 Dunn St, Oakville, ON L6J3C8).
