We announce the death of Rodney Shepherd (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 95. Rodney will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Gertrude Shepherd; his brother Brian; his daughter Nancy; and his son-in-law Michael. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Diane, Peter (Cynthia) and Keith (Kim); his stepson Brian (Linda); his grandchildren, Christopher (Jill), Corey (Crissy), Brock (Kristy-Lee), Marcus (Jackie), MIchelle, Tana (Silas), Zachary (Ashley), Alex, Andrew and Bradley; Aidan, Merina and Stewart. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A reception will be held on Saturday, November 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
