Sabir Ali Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sabir Ali (Oakville, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sabir may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anita Ali; his children, Qumar and Omar Ali; his daughter-in-law Mary Jo Wheeler-Ali; and his grandsons, Caelib Ali and Jackson Ali. He was also cherished by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Glen Oaks Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H 7A8). A reception will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home Reception Lounge (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Saint Teresa's Parish in Etobicoke, a place close to the family's heart.
