Sofia Belej Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sofia Belej (Oakville, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Petro; her sons, Walter (Vera) and Steven (Lesia); her grandchildren, Natalie, Daniel, Anna Sophia (Jeff) and Peter (Caroline); and her great grandchildren, Justis, Tristan, Daniela, James and Evelyn.
In memory of Sofia, donations can be made to the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre or to Unite with Ukraine.
