He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Heizler and Katherina Heizler. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Steven (Jen) and Kristen (Jon); his brother Frank (Brenda); his niece Jennifer; his nephew Mark; and his siblings-in-law, Brian (Jane) and Eileen.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 2180 Marine Dr, Oakville, ON L6L5V2.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington or the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton.
