She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Pastyr; and her parents, Peter Wel and Serafina Wel. She is survived by: her children, Nadine (Robert), Murray (Larysa) and Patricia (Paul); her grandchildren, Alicia (Rob), Matthew, Holly, Michael (Madison), Lauren (Dylan), Trevor and Samantha; her great grandchildren, Jack and Aurora; her sisters, Elizabeth (Max) and Lesia (Vernon); and her caregivers, Ceci, Collette, Lavern and Kadisha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home Reception Lounge (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8).
