He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his daughter Christine; and his siblings, Rudy, Julie and Rosie.

He is survived by: his children, Tony, Michael, Cindy, Steven and Caroline; his grandchildren, Chelsea (Steve), Billy (Nicole), John (Joyce), Mark, Amanda (Tyler), Nick (Samantha), Christine (Patrick), Tommy (Britany) and Michael; his great grandchildren, Ben, Isabella, Jackson, Isla, Ella, Ava and Weston; and his sister Irene.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5A3Y3). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Roman Catholic Slovak Church (5255 Thornwood Dr, Mississauga, ON L4Z3J3). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L4Y2B5).
