She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Tom Miles and Edith Miles; her brother Bill (Sandy); and her grandchildren, Sean (Amanda), Sarah (Tim), Colin, Jude and Ava.

Music credits included pioneering music therapy in the locked forensic ward of the Royal Ottawa Psychiatric hospital and bringing a music program to Alzheimer patients in Shelburne.
