He was predeceased by: his stepson Fred; and his siblings, Ilija and Nedo. He is survived by: his spouse Jelka (Helen); his children, Kris (Susy) and Eli (Anne); his stepdaughter Linda; his grandchildren, Lucas, Emily and Nathan; his stepgrandchildren, Leah and Troy; his stepgreat-grandson Aaron; and his siblings, Drago and Marinko.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery (1149 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4L8).

The family would prefer that in lieu of sending flowers people can make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital where he received such good care from everyone there.
