He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Marlowe. He is survived by: his wife Irena; his daughters, Magda (Stephen) and Zuza (Thomas); his sister Mira; his mother Barbara; and his grandsons, Benjamin and Leonard.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
