She is survived by: her husband Peter Askew; her children, Sarah and William; her mother Dianne Khan; her sister Amber; her niece Taylor; her sisters, Nissa, Jenni, Tina and Wendy; her aunt Susie; and her family, Will and Pete.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home (64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K1E1).
Donations can be made in Yas' memory to Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation – Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre where she received such great care and attention.
