She was predeceased by: her brother Donald Peters (Marlene); and her siblings-in-law, Joan Balesdent (late Eddie), Geraldine Bald (late Bob), Debbie Thompson and Reginald Thompson (Marg).

She is survived by: her husband Dale; her daughters, Lisa Bendig (Todd) and Belinda Thompson; her grandchildren, Dillon Bendig (Faith) and Alison Bendig (Mekhi); her sibling Shirley Fretz (late Glenn); and her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Turcotte (late Wilfred), Lois Harquail (late Lonnie), Armilda Dixon (late Wayne), Douglas Thompson (Barb), David Thompson (Jane) and Glenn Thompson (Connie). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Museum of Lennox and Addington.
