She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Scott (Vandrick) and Douglas Scott; and her daughter Melissa Scott. She is survived by: her children, Samantha Lapensee (Dan) and Shawn Lapensee (Marisa); her grandchildren, Aubree Lapensee, Skyler and Atlas Farley; her siblings, Kimberley Scott and Bernie Leaney; and her siblings' children, Sheina, Melanie and Dylan.
