He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Marx and Gertrud Marx; and his sister-in-law Katherine Black. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Brumm; his children, Erin Marx-Guerin (Marquis) and Simon Marx (Kerri); his grandchildren, Bop, Martin, Elaine, Henry and Hailey; his brother Hans (Karen); his niece Jessica; and his nephew Robin.
