He is survived by: his son Ogwaho Powless; his siblings, Gail Ayres, Audrey Powless-Bomberry (Jim Bomberry), Harry (Susan McCall), Arlene Martin (Dan), Richard (Effie Panousos), Karen Martin (Jerry), Tony and Jacqui Powless (Ron Lynes); his sisters-in-law, Patti Powless and Dennise Maracle; his brothers, Gaylord, Gary, Gregory, Victor and Jeffrey; and his nephews, Darren Martin and Christopher Powless.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Styres Funeral Home (1798 4th Line, Ohsweken, ON N0A1M0).
