She is survived by: her children, Carole, Carla and Derek (Ashlee); her grandchildren, Aicha, Djamel, Daelon (Olivia), Caius, Raynee and Rodderek; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Finn and Declyn; and her siblings, Scott (Mary), Gunner (Dianne), Cheryl, Brenda (late Harry), Andrea, Tammy (Carmen) and Justine (Sher).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to "The Miles to Go Cancer Group," whose support meant so much to Verna and her loved ones.
