He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his daughter Edna McNair (Ian); his grandchildren, Michelle (Mike), Jaclyn (Greg) and Christie (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Logan, Ethan, Jaime, Colby, Owen and Ruby; and his sisters, Sarah MacLean, Louise MacLennan, Marina Anderson, Virginia Chdzenko and Myrtle Matheson (Allan).
