She is survived by : her husband Walter Joost; her daughter Krista Gabrielse (Josh); her grandchildren, Claire and Wesley; and her siblings, Stella Braic (Peter) and Manny Campanile (Lisa). She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Memorial.

Memorial donations to Headwaters Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
