He was predeceased by: his former wife Eileen J Neely; his wife Shelley M Young; his siblings, Victor (Buddy), Barb, Paul, Eva, Ralph and Arnold; and his parents, Karl Boyd and Kathleen Boyd.

He is survived by: his children, Richard, Michelle (Norm), Shannon (Ron), Jeff (Lesley), Lee-Anne, Matthew (Jazmin) and Maighan; his grandchildren, Zoe, Alexandra, Danielle, Sarah, Zachary, Ryan, Michael, Meghan, Tristan and Shawn; his great grandchildren, Ethan and Westen; and his siblings, Carmen Wyman and Jack Boyd. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
