It is with sadness that the passing of Chris Simmons (Orangeville, Ontario) is shared. Chris, born on August 18, 1946, passed away on October 8, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Chris Simmons to pay them a last tribute.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Simmons; her children, Andrea Tessman (Dean) and Shawn Simmons (Krista); her grandchildren, Anastasia, Avery, Tyler and Emily; her brother John Gaetz; and her stepsiblings, Francie and John. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Timothy Catholic Church (42 Dawson Rd, Orangeville, ON L9W2W3). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8).
Memorial donations to either the Heart & Stroke foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
