She was predeceased by : her son Steven Ahearn. She is survived by : her spouse Russell Ahearn; and her children, Lisa Nickel, Mychelle Ahearn-Hanes (Nick) and Ashley Ahearn (Steve). She is also survived by her great grandchildren other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 7th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A reception was held on Sunday, January 7th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Dods & McNair Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Memorial.
