He was predeceased by : his parents, Angus Smith and Helen Smith; and his wife Fausta Smith. He is survived by : his children, Ron Smith (Wendy) of Orangeville, Deb Mawle (David) of Belfountain, Kerry Smith and Sandra Pinkney (Rob) of Orangeville; his grandchildren, Adam (Kim), Katherine (Kelly), Justin, Christopher (Cara), Sarah (Marcel), Joshua (Paula), Gryffen, Kaleigh (Matt), Dayna and Spencer; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Brandon, Justin, Skylar, Elan, Alice, Dalia, Cadence, Nolan, Fintan, Corban and Adelayne; his sister Mary Christie (late William); and his sister-in-law Sheila Smith (late Kenneth).

Memorial donations to Bethell Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
