“Dorothea, my flower, you have have now left us. I say you are a flower because when I see flowers, I cheer up and always smile, and there was not one moment I spent with you where I didn't smile. Whether you were standing on your tippy-toes at the front door window on Grand to see me arrive or leave, pedaling your gold bicycle with a basket full of goods on Somerled Avenue in NDG, or serving me your famous wiener schnitzel next to Peter at the table, a grin from ear-to-ear would instantly appear on my face whenever I was in your company. Mrs. Kirchberger, the world was a better place with you in it. Your soothing voice and charming accent always put people at ease, and your gorgeous smile and long blonde hair always lit up a room. You were patient, understanding, and generous, and will be missed dearly by all. My tears demonstrate sorrow, but underneath those tears, is a smile for the joy of knowing you.
