He was predeceased by : his father Francis. He is survived by : his wife Karen Albrechtson; his children, Justin (Marley), Lindsay Albrechtson and Erika (Phillip); his grandchildren, Teyvan, Jadyne, Jazlin and River; his mother Lillian; his siblings, Karen (Jack), Norine (Fred) and Gary (Val); and his siblings-in-law, Brian (Brenda), Steve (Carol), Mark (Tracy) and Morgan. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 14th 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 15th 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 15th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, September 15th 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
