It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Banks (Orangeville, Ontario), who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Noreen Doherty and Edgar Doherty; and also, Donna and Douglas Banks. She is survived by : her husband Ronald; her children, Harrison, Emily and Jordan (Bex); and her siblings, Patricia Cockell (Dean), Bernice Tracey (late Keith), Joanne Walker (Richard), Chuck Doherty (Marg) and Bill Doherty (Sigrid).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 22nd 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Compass Community Church (246289 Hockley Rd, Orangeville, ON L9V1A6). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 22nd 2023 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, November 22nd 2023 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Memorial.
