With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John McLean (Orangeville, Ontario), who passed away on May 20, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine McLean and David McLean; and his son David. He is survived by: his wife Josie; his children, Gordon and Joanne; his grandchildren, Michael, Jason Curro, Lyndsey-Jo and Matthew McLean; and his great grandchildren, Kyle McLean and Luca Curro.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Tweedsmuir Memorial Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
