She was predeceased by : her brother Stephen Birchall (Lori Toal-Birchall) of Meaford; and her parents, Helen Birchall and John Birchall (Meaford) of Caledon East. She is survived by : her husband David Tilson; and her brothers, John Birchall (Marty) of Newmarket and Jim Birchall (Kelly Millar) of Mississauga.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 10th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Westminster United Church (247 Broadway, Orangeville, ON L9W1K6). A reception was held on Saturday, February 10th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
