With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay MacGregor (Orangeville, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on February 17, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her children, David (Katerina), Andrew (Karen), Tammy (Joe) and Kim (Everett); her grandchildren, Luke, Danny, Adam, Sloane (Matt), Andrew, Logan, Alexandra, Victoria, David, Catherine, Katie and Emma; her great grandchildren, Westlund, Willow and Wren; her nieces and nephews, David, Peni, Allison, Paul, Peter and Nancy; her siblings, Eleanor and Fred (Grace); her parents, Doris Speer and Fred Speer; and her child Orangeville.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Sunday, February 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Memorial.

In Lieu of Flowers, donations are welcomed at the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Centre, or towards a charity of your choice.

“There is no one like Kay in so many wonderful ways and I'll never forget her. She shared her home with me when I worked at Theatre Orangeville on a couple of occasions. I was introduced to a spirited artist, a dog-lover (we had that in common), a woman who loved and cherished her family and friends and had that wonderful laugh and sparkle in her eye. I'd start every phone call with 'Is that the famous Kay MacGregor' and she'd laugh and say the same to me. RIP Kay and my deepest condolences.”
