She was predeceased by: her husband John Simmonds; her great grandchild Brock; and her siblings, Jean and Bob. She is survived by: her daughters, Shelley Parkin (Graham) and Linda Simmonds; her grandchildren, Kendra (Jon), Nicole (Tim), Matthew (Larissa), Keisha (Alfredo) and Torrissa (Devon); her great grandchildren, Leah, Madison, Charlotte and Sophie; and her sisters, Carol, Sharon and Marie. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
