He was predeceased by: his wife Peachie; his daughter Suzanne; his parents, Leonard Hill and Elizabeth Hill; and his brother Bryan Hill.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Hill (Janice Gooding) of Mono Township, ON, Judie Hill (Adam Kurn) of Thorndale, ON, Kathi Hill (Philip Hobbs) of Corbeil, ON and Scott Hill (Julie Hill) of Owen Sound, ON; his grandchildren, Mikayla Valiquette (Bronson Valiquette), Rachel Hobbs, Trevor Hobbs (Reese Hobbs), Megan Kurn, Reid Kurn, Keegan Hill and Peyton Hill; and his great grandchild Madison Valiquette.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville ON in Marve's honour.
