It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pete Herlihy (Orangeville, Ontario), who passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Pete farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Pete is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his child Rhian (Joe Oliveira). He is survived by: his child Nia Herlihy (Chris Pipka); his grandchildren, Cody, Ryan and Justine; and his sister Nola Wylie of England. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
