He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Richard Ruple and Helen Ruple; his wife Deanna Rae Deia; his children, Lori J. Ruple (Barry Peterson), Vicki L. Ruple Lepe (Memo Lepe) and Steven Ruple (Jennifer Arnold); his grandchildren, Melina Lepe, Kelsey Peterson (Christopher Wells), Carter Peterson, Dalton Jake Lepe and Cole Ruple; his great grandchildren, Astraea Lepe-Tabone, Flora Wells and Margo Wells; and his siblings, Dorothy Wedge, Pearl Valvoda and Van Ruple.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 18th 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 18th 2023 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
