He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie; his daughters, Heather (Robert Contois) and Sharon; his siblings, Arloine and Philip; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Thompson, Douglas McLeod and Vivian Thompson.

He is survived by: his children, Janet (Bruce Muysson), Alan (Andrea), Neil and Linda Marlin (Paul); his grandchildren, Deanne (Andrew), Alison (Sebastien), Bob Jr. and J. D. (Natasha); and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Jackson, Grace Nesrallah and Alistair Normandin.
