He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merilyn Banks and Bonnar Banks; his brother Scott Banks; his sibling's children, Kelsey (Billy), Jacob (Emily) and Liam (Morgan); and his great-nephew Brooks. He was also cherished by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Dods & McNair Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8).
