He was predeceased by : his sister Myrna Dmyterko. He is survived by : his children, Andrew (Pam) and Megan (Brett); the mother of his children Margot; his grandchildren, Ryan and Kyra; and his siblings, Audrey Laycock and Len Hornseth.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 14th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 14th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Sunday, January 14th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Memorial.
