It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Meyer (Orangeville, Ontario), born in Welland, Ontario, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his significant other Lorraine; his parents, William Meyer and Rose Meyer; and his siblings, Shirley and Jack.

He is survived by : his children, Laurie, Cheryl (James), Darren (Trish), Joanne (Dom), Grampa, Megan and Katelyn; and his grandchildren, Tabitha and Spencer.

There will be no drop-in memorial event due to the pandemic.

“Part 2: After our retirement we spent most our time at the cottage or Arizona so we saw them less often. We did have a great visit together in Tucson AZ in the early 2000's!!! On a final note Audra and Deidra have regaled us with stories of "Adventures in Babysitting" when they were with the three of you!!!! As life seems to come full circle; we are returning to Orangeville (condo living) and Audra is the principal at ODSS. The Meyers family is very special. Fondly, Barb and Gary Cook”

“Cheryl, Joanne and Darren, We were saddened to learn that both Bill and Lorraine have passed away. Bill's obituary was "right on" with describing his sense of humour and joke-telling. He certainly lent a hand to us when were building our house in Melville summer of 1980. Barb and Lorraine had a great time working for 10 years with the Grade 8's at Parkinson while Gary and Bill had almost 20 years at ODSS. Our times together were full of laughs, parties and crazy activities. TBC”
