She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Spraggett and Frances (Percy); her siblings, Glenn (Eileen Hi), Doreen (Wilmot Craig) and Joy (Don Corbbett); and her sisters-in-law, Eva Anderson (Bob Porter) and Lucy Anderson (Harry Hensmen).
She is survived by: her spouse Russell Sears; her sons, Paul Sears (Dawn) of Wesport and Allan Sears of Orillia; her grandchildren, Christopher Sears of Sudbury, Amanda Harra (Rick) of Almonte and Brittany Sears (Thom Agueci) of Brighton; and her stepfather Evan Anderson. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the OSPCA Orillia.
