She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Archibald McEachern and Elizabeth Margaret McEachern; and her sisters, Alice McEachern and Katherine Russell. She is survived by: her sister Margaret Sword; her husband Leonard John Charles Bertram; her children, Leslie (Julie) of Toronto, Michele (Paul) of Courtice, Janine (Michael) of Elmira, Cynthia (Sean) of Burlington, Richard of Crawford Bay, B. C. and Denise (Dave Beaton) of Kitchener; her grandchildren, Kristen (Shawn), Lisa (Justin), Erin (Ryan), Spencer (Ashley), Claire, Rebecca, Adam and Brienna (Raphael); and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Matthew and Grace.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society of Canada, Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation, or the St. James Anglican Church, Orillia and will be received by the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Home 54 Coldwater Street E., Orillia, Ontario 705-326-3595.
