Basil James Baye Obituary

We bid farewell to Basil James Baye of Orillia, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 5, 2026 at the age of 84. Basil touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Baye and Francis "Frank" Baye; his significant other Lucille McNaughton-Baye; and his son Basil James Baye Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Frances, Joyce, Theresa, Gene, Garry, Margret, Gordon, Eileen, Frank, Sharon and John; and his siblings-in-law, Wilma, Pat, Larry and George.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Orillia Legion, Branch 34 (215 Mississaga St E, Orillia, ON L3V1W2).
