He was predeceased by: his children, Bonnie Carruthers and Terry Carruthers; his grandchildren, Brett, Ashley, Kyle, Scott and Sarah Carruthers; his great grandchildren, Gordon, Ava and Lincoln Carruthers; his sibling Glenn Carruthers; and also, Cecil and Wesley.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian; and his children, Lori Carruthers and Gary Carruthers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
