He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Ross (Vallentyne); and his sisters, Dorothy and Mary. He is survived by: his children, John (Janet), Carol (Stephen), Ron (Pat), Elaine (Sam) and Gord (Cindy); his grandchildren, Carolyn (Steven), Alex, Andrew (Melanie), Will, Rosslyn, Tinia, Chantel, Chrisandra (Luke) and Sarah; and his great grandchildren, Naomi, Oscar and Max.
