He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Georgina Turan; his children, Mark Turan (Maryann), Bob Turan (Beverly), Micheal Turan and Laura Hofman; and his siblings, Douglas Turan (Ursula) and Barbara Boyd (late Jack).
