He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Shelswell and Betty Shelswell; and his sister Janis Beemer (Dave). He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his sons, Kyle (Michelle) and Colin (Ainslie); and his stepchildren, Vanessa Porter (Graham) and Scott Campbell. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
