He was predeceased by: his former wife Joan; his daughters, Sandi and Jennifer; his parents, Cecil Sheardown and Thelma Sheardown of Edgar; and his brother Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Eveline Hird (Lyn); his children, Styeve and Mike (Terry); his grandchildren, Josh (Tanya), Amber (Matt), Ashley, Christina, Sara, Robert (Danielle), Gelja (late Barrett), Daniel (Gage) and Mathew; his great grandchildren, Ben, Lexie, Michael, Nicholas and Dante; his brothers, Jim (Irene) and Bill; his friends, Bob Herbert, Norm McLeod and Glen Lancaster; Robert (Donna), Annette (Shawn), Nolan, Jessica (Tom) and Kristen (Marc). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
