We bid farewell to Daniel Victor Newman (Orillia, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 21, 2026 at the age of 63. Daniel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Karen; his father Victor; and his parents-in-law, James and Marion Daffern. He is survived by: his mother Anne; his daughter Alanna Clark (Stuart); his granddaughter Victoria; his son James Newman (Pearl); his sister Debra Whitman (Shane); and his siblings-in-law, Brian Daffern (Rosalie) and Katherine Evans (David). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mundell Funeral Home (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. James' Anglican Church (58 Peter St N, Orillia, ON L3V1W6).
