He was predeceased by: his parents, David Dickson and Theresa Lajoie. He is survived by: his wife Penny Lee Copeland; his children, Sue, Paula, Sarah and Adam; his stepchildren, Corey (Katherine) and Janna (Kevin); his grandchildren, Violet, Hannah, Molly, Emily, Aidan, Edwin and Sadie; his sister Grace (Denis); and his stepsiblings, Melanie (Earl) and Christopher. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.

Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Covenant Christian Community Church, Penetang would be appreciated by the family.
